SACO — It hurts when someone you love dies. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Find help at GriefShare.
The Griefshare program is a 12-week seminar featuring a video with top experts on grief and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies, dramatic reenactments, and on-location video.
After viewing the video, you and the other group members will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in your lives.
During the week you will have the opportunity for further personal study of the grieving process and to help sort out your emotions through journaling.
Griefshare will be held at United Baptist Church, 318 Main St. in Saco every Wednesday for 12 weeks beginning May 3 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
For more information, please call the church office at 283-3411.
Comments are not available on this story. Read more about why we allow commenting on some stories and not on others.
We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
