DANVERS — Mrs. Ellen Wyrocki, 51, of Danvers, beloved wife of John Wyrocki, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 10, 2017, in Freeport, Maine. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who will be greatly missed by everyone who’s life she touched.

Born in Hengelo, Holland, Ellen had a happy childhood competing in horseback riding and raising animals. At sixteen, Ellen moved to Caloundra, Australia. In Australia, Ellen married and had three beautiful children: Benjamin, Krystal and Kelly. After divorcing in 2000, Ellen met her forever husband, John Wyrocki. Ellen sold all of her belongings and ventured to the United States. Starting with very little, they decided to make Maine there home. They lived in Hallowell, Freeport, and finally Topsham. In 2008, Ellen followed her husband to Danvers, MA where she lived up until her death.

Ellen’s greatest joy was being a mother to her two beautiful daughters, Alexis (02) and Jamie (09). Her children truly brought her daily inspiration and were her most precious gifts. Ellen took great pride in being the “home executive.” She was a wonderful homemaker, who loved to cook, decorate, clean, pay bills, garden, paint and keep her house spotless. Ellen’s home was her life. Ellen also found special comfort in animals always finding a way to keep each, truly loved.

In addition to her husband John, Ellen is survived by her mother and father, Johanna and Herman Staverman, of AU; her five (5) children, Alexis and Jamie Wyrocki of Danvers; Benjamin, Krystal and Kelly Deacon of AU; three (3) great-grandchildren, Angel, Ruby and Scarlet of AU; her brother, John Staverman and his two children, Johnathan and Jesse all of AU.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held in the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers on Wednesday, April 26 from 5 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends invited. Her memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Ellen’s memory to the Memorial Fund for Alexis and Jamie Wyrocki c/o Salem Five Bank, 85 High Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
