PORTLAND (AP) — Officials say a 75-year-old woman died after her car went off the road and crashed into a nearby wetland.
The accident happened Monday where Routes 112 and 114 intersect in the town of Gorham.
Police officers were forced to shut down two major streets in the area for several hours.
Police officials say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The woman’s identity will not be released until her relatives are notified.
