
She was born in Connor on Feb. 12, 1921, a daughter of Levi and Delia (Gendreau) Soucy. She was educated from Connor schools.
She married her husband Gerard on June 30, 1951. She was employed by Pepperell Manufacturing in Biddeford for 15 years, retiring in 1960. She also owned and operated Pine Grove Cabins in Old Orchard Beach for 19 years.
Her hobbies included reading, reading her Bible and learning about history. She also enjoyed taking adult education classes.
She was predceded in death by: her husband, Gerard on Nov. 1, 2008; three brothers, Ernest, Clarence and Robert; and by two sisters, Lena Synder and Laurina Martin.
She is survived by her son, Paul R. Lacroix. and one niece, Julie Larson.
The burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
