TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School junior varsity baseball team moved its record to 4-0 with a 4-1 win against Lewiston recently.
Ben Freeman and Dakota Lopez combined on a no-hitter. The two tallied 12 strikeouts and six walks.
Nate Taylor led the offense with a double and single. Devin Tobin doubled and Austin Damon singled.
Against Skowhegan in an earlier game, Will Kavanaugh singled in the tying and winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning for an 11-10 victory.
Austin Damon scored four runs and singled. Kavanaugh singed twice, while Lopez singled and tripled. Taylor singled twice and Devin Tobin singled.
Blair Kopp, Tobin and Austin Damon combined on four strikeouts and two walks.
