We, as a nation, are falling apart.

Our resources go to support the Military/Industrial complex that President Eisenhower warned us about. (Now it should be called the Military/Industial/Congressional complex.) Our support for schools, infrastructure (bridges fall and roads “hole”) collapsed as we funded the constantly enlarging War Machine. The US has been and is based on the economics of War – especially after the end of WWII. The Department of Defense is really the DEPARTMENT OF OFFENSE as in “WARS of Aggression.” Congress is owned by the corporations and “writes” laws often drafted by the corporations of the military/industrial complex. The US must change — if it is to survive. I fear it won’t. I am 80 years old and not likely to see the worst. It’s a good time to be 80.
