LISBON
The Lisbon High School baseball team scored runs in all but one inning on its way to a dominant 10-0 Mountain Valley Conference win in five frames over Mt. Abram on Tuesday.
Noah Austin led the way for Lisbon (5-1), which sprayed 10 hits and scored two runs each in the first and fourth, and three runs each in the third and fifth. Austin was 2-for-3 at the plate with one RBI and scored three times. Sean Scott was a perfect 3-for-3, notching two RBIs, doubling and scoring once.
Noah Francis worked four innings on the bump for the Greyhounds, striking out four, walking one and allowing just two hits. Scott came on and notched one strikeout in the fifth.
Mt. Abram’s (0-6) George Werzanski gave up seven runs over four innings pitched, while David Smith allowed three and fanned one.
Lisbon visits Winthrop today at 4 p.m.

The host Shipbuilders improved to 5-0 with a nineinning win over the Lions in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference action on Kelley Field.
Isaiah Cogswell led off the Morse ninth by getting hit with a pitch. Tucker Banger singled, and Tait Nygaard followed with infield single to third base. On the late throw to first, Cogswell hustled to the plate for the game-winning run.
Belfast struck for a pair of runs in the first, but Morse answered in its first swings as Nygaard homered to leftcenter field.
Down 3-1, the Shipbuilders tied the contest in the sixth as Austin Magliozzi lifted a sacrifice fly ball and Riley Lamarre hit a clutch two-out RBI single.
Banger pitched the seventh, eighth and ninth frames, facing the minimum. Parker Onorato made a diving catch in right field and doubled up a Lions runner.
Banger was 4-for-5 at the plate with two stolen bases, while Nygaard was 3-for-4.
Morse hosts Gardiner today at 4 p.m.

Zach Small tossed a no-hitter as the visiting Bobcats rolled to an East-West Conference win at Rangeley.
Richmond, 6-1 and scheduled to visit Traip Academy on Thursday at 4 p.m., had nine hits and took advantage of seven Laker errors. Small had two hits, including a double, while Danny Stewart scored four runs and doubled. Brendan Emmons also doubled for the Bobcats.
Richmond led 2-0 in the fourth before putting up four runs for a 6-0 edge. The Bobcats added a pair of runs in the fifth and three more in the seventh.
Small struck out 10 and threw just 74 pitches.
Bo Beaulieu suffered the loss for 3-2 Rangeley, with Ricky Thompson tossing two innings of relief.

The visiting Windjammers had a field day at the plate on the way to a KVAC win.
Noah Goddard took the hill to start for Brunswick (0-4), giving up one earned run on three hits and a walk over three innings. Dalton Dickey, Coenradt Taylor, Sam Sharpe and Will Stevens combined to give up 12 runs in relief and were plagued by eight errors in the field.
Ionut Lodge went 3-for-4 at the plate for Camden Hills (2-3), while Owen Hilt was 1- for-2, and Jack Moody and Jackson Movers each had two hits.
Brandon Fisher (seven innings, two earned runs, four hits, one walk, one strikeout) was the winning pitcher.
Brunswick hosts Lewiston today at 4 p.m.
Softball
LISBON — A nine-run third inning allowed Lisbon to pull away for a 17-2 MVC win over Mt. Abram.
Giana Russo was 4-for-4 at the plate for the Greyhounds (3-2) with four RBIs, while Joanna Turner was 3-for-3 with two RBIs and Ali Sult 2- for-3 with a pair of runs batted in.
Alyssa Hall earned the mound win on three strikeouts, two walks and three hits.
Summer Ross pitched for the Roadrunners, allowing 14 hits and five walks.
Ross, Kiley Holt and Emma Berube had a hit each in the loss.
Lisbon hosts Wiscasset today at 4 p.m.

The Wolverines broke into the win column with an MVC victory over Boothbay in makeup action.
Wiscasset, which visits Lisbon today at 4 p.m., improved to 1-6.
Sydney Thayer had a big day for the visitors, tallying two doubles for six RBIs. August Moore earned the mound win and helped herself with two singles, a double and two RBIs. Maeve Blodgett also singled twice and picked up two RBIs, while Corey Campbell and Farrah Casey singled three times each, and Lindsey Gordon doubled.
Hannah Gentry pitched for Boothbay with three strikeouts.

The Bobcats took advantage of 15 walks en route to an East-West Conference win over Rangeley.
Richmond, 6-0 and slated to visit Traip Academy on Thursday at 4 p.m., has won 76 straight contests.
Sydney Tilton bashed three hits in the win, with Caitlin Kendrick adding a pair of singles and Meranda Martin picking up two hits, including a triple.
Martin and Bryanne Lancaster combined on the mound, allowing two hits with seven strikeouts and two walks.
Tasha Haley and Celia Philbrick had a hit each for the Lakers, while Sydney Royce and Olivia Pye handled the pitching duties.
