OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Kenneth L. Butler, 78, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 29, 1938, he was a son of William and Helen (Morrissey) Butler.
He is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Joan (Sullivan) Butler of Old Orchard Beach; one daughter, Helen Marie Butler and her companion, Seth Howland, of Reading, Massachusetts; two brothers, William Butler of Stoneham, Massachusetts, and Robert Butler of Lake Sebago; and a sister, Mary Ann Rogers of Laconia, New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Scarborough. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.
