SACO — Jeannette Langevin Rousseau, 86, of Saco died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Andre’s Health Care Facility in Biddeford.

She was born Nov. 25, 1930 in Biddeford, a daughter of Theode and Eva (Champagne) Langevin and was educated at St. Andre’s School and High School in Biddeford.

On July 3, 1948, she married Raymond O. Rousseau in St. Andre’s Church

She had been employed at the Pepperell Mill as a blanket inspector; she later worked at St. Francis College in the food service department. She returned to Pepperell in 1980, retiring in 1995.

Jeannette enjoyed playing Beano and Bingo and socializing with friends; family gatherings and outings were important to her.

She was preceded in death by Raymond, her husband of 63 years, on May 25, 2012, and also by four brothers: Theode “Ted,” Paul, Raymond, and Rene Langevin.

Surviving are two sons, Donald M. Rousseau and his wife Linda of Biddeford and Roger H. Rousseau and his wife Debbie of Shapleigh and Stuart, Florida; two sisters, Aline Verville and Simonne Estrella both of Biddeford; five grandchildren, Ross, Matthew, Eric, Danielle and Joseph; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005; a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
