SPINDLEWORKS’ 7TH ANNUAL Mid Coast Altered Couture Contest will take place Thursday from 6-8 p.m. This year’s event features 24 local designers working within the theme of “Masquerade Couture.” With a focus on recyclable and re-purposed materials, designers/models will strut the runway sharing their hand crafted renderings. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to The Art Van, a mobile arts therapy organization whose mission is to provide a creative and collaborative environment for youth with who have little or no arts access.
