GORHAM— University of Southern Maine seniors Hannah Damron and Molly Gibeault, along with the Huskies’ 4 x 100-meter relay, competed Thursday during the first day of competition at the 2017 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships being held at the SPIRE Institute located in Geneva, Ohio.
The relay combination of freshman Jhanel Pott, seniors Neka Dias and Liz O’Neal (Brunswick/Mt. Ararat) and freshman Adela Kalilwa combined for a time of 47.84 seconds in their preliminary round race, but failed to advance to Saturday’s final.
