RAYMOND (AP) — Maine game wardens are searching for a man whose canoe overturned in a pond in Raymond, Maine.

A spokesman says the 52- year-old Connecticut man has been missing since Thursday night. He went canoeing alone at Panther Pond, and friends soon heard distressed hollering from him. They called for help, and fire and game wardens searched the area into Friday morning.

Rescuers found the overturned the canoe. They are using divers in their search.
