
Maria was born to Emil and Maria Luppert in Frankfurt, Germany on November 22nd, 1936.
She moved to Bath, Maine in 1964, when she married George L. Pushard. They had two children, George D. Pushard, and John S Pushard.
She worked at Sampson’s Supermarket and Shaw’s Supermarket in Bath for many years. Maria and George moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1988 until George passed away in 2000. Maria then moved to Kentucky to be with her son George.
She enjoyed going for walks and hikes, gardening, golfing, and especially being with family and friends.
Maria was predeceased by her parents and by her husband George. She is survived by her sons George and wife Colette of Paducah, KY, and John and wife Robin of Bath, ME; brothers: Arthur Luppert and wife Margot, Dieter Luppert and wife Hannelore, and Thomas Luppert; sisters: Irma Schmitt, and Sigrun Kaiser and husband Jürgen, and a son Michael Castan and a daughter Ruth Castan, (all from Germany), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
