BRUNSWICK — Effective Monday, June 12, the Brunswick Explorer will make some subtle changes to its service to make operating during summer traffic more reliable. The first change is that the Brunswick Explorer will require one-day advance notice for any and all route deviations. This will permit us to route-plan more effectively. It may be necessary for us to negotiate at what time, and in which direction, pick-ups or drop-offs will be provided. This does not include on-route, non-deviated, request stops which can still be accommodated with a one-hour minimum advance notice.

Changes include:

• Park View will be a Westbound stop only at :40 past the hour.

• Baribeau Health Loop will be a new scheduled stop at the Baribeau healthcare complex at :55 past the hour, Westbound only, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We will be able to take people to specific buildings and entrances.

• Bowdoin will be a regular stop Eastbound and an on-route request stop Westbound.

• Merrymeeting Plaza will be a Westbound stop only and an on-route request stop Eastbound.

Contact the Brunswick Explorer office at (207) 721- 9600 for more information including a printed copy of the updated schedule or to schedule a deviation for a pick-up or drop-off. The updated schedule is also available at brunswickexplorer.org and on the Brunswick Explorer Facebook page.
