BRUNSWICK — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade baseball team picked up a pair of wins over Brunswick in recent action.
Carsen Taylor limited Brunswick to five hits in the opener, a 2-1 Eagles win.
Cody Bowker had three hits and scored the game-winning run, while Ty Henke picked up a key hit. Spencer LeClair also scored a run for Mt. Ararat.
The Eagles rolled to a 12-2 victory in the second game.
Henke went the distance on the mound with seven strikeouts. Ryan Robertson had three hits and Bowker had two. Key hits for Mt. Ararat came from Jay Kearney, Triston Cloutier, Gage Mitchell, LeClair and Chris Brady.
Mt. Ararat also downed Auburn, 14-2.
Landon Weaver, Cloutier, Brady, Henke and Kearney all had key hits to secure the win.
