U.S. SEN. SUSAN COLLINS met with a group of Woolwich Central School students, parents and teachers who traveled to Washington, D.C., for the 8th grade class’ annual trip. “I was delighted to welcome these students from Woolwich Central School to our nation’s capital,” said Collins. “There are countless educational opportunities in D.C., and I was glad that these bright Maine students had the chance to gain a deeper understanding of the legislative process by seeing it firsthand.” The annual trip by the Woolwich Central School 8th graders allows the students to tour the U.S. Capitol building as well as other points of interest in Washington, D.C.
