BIDDEFORD — The University of New England is pleased to host the USA Hockey National Girls U18 Select Player Development Camp at the Harold Alfond Forum starting June 24 and running through June 30.
This unique event features the top 66 U18 players in the United States and will incorporate current US Women’s National Team players as part of the coaching staff. Two-time Olympian and current team captain Meghan Duggan is scheduled to be a mentor, as is assistant captain Kacey Bellamy (two-time Olympian), Olympian Brianna Decker, and current National Team Player Amanda Pelkey.
The 66 players in camp will be competing for opportunities to advance to a select team that will be invited to Lake Placid, N.Y. for the National Festival at the Olympic Training Center in August.
A free autograph session will be held on Tuesday, June 27 at 5:45 p.m.
