BIDDEFORD — Jeannette Robitaille, 92, of Biddeford, died on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

She was born on January 3, 1925 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Chasse) Dube in Biddeford, ME. 

On April 17, 1948, she married Gerard Robitaille. They spent 38 years together until his death on May 3, 1986.

She dedicated her life to her family, she stayed at home to raise her five children. She was also an accomplished seamstress. She has always enjoyed singing and dancing. Later in life she enjoyed her puzzles.

She is preceded in death by 13 siblings.

Jeannette is survived by: three sons, Paul Robitaille and his wife, Monique, of Arundel, Eugene Robitaille and his wife, Gloria of Biddeford, and Roger Robitaille and his wife, Vickie, of Biddeford; two daughters, Claudette Hokanson and her husband, Frank Simoneau, of Biddeford, and Diane Rumery and her husband, Mark, of Biddeford; nine grandchild; seven great-grandchildren; four siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
