“MAINE LOBSTERING” BY RICHARD HASENFUS. The Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will hold its annual auction on Saturday. Items will include including art work by local artists such as Hasenfus, George Baker, Bill Herman and Katherine Gray. Also included in the auction lineup are several small boats, furniture, sporting equipment and even a Mazda. There will be a large selection of white elephant items, and a food booth with hamburgers, hotdogs, and baked goods. The Five Islands Station is located down the road from the Five Islands Baptist Church and the Georgetown Community Center. The auction preview and white elephant sale begins at 8 a.m., with bidding beginning at 9 a.m. It will run until the last item has been auctioned. Proxy bidding is available. No credit cards will be accepted.
