SACO — Florence I. Hoyt, 88, of Saco, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at the Gorham House.

She was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on Nov. 28, 1928, a daughter of George Sr. and Mabel (Greenwood) Webster. She graduated from West High School in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Florence and her husband, Robert Wayne Hoyt, met and married in Rhode Island and moved to Maine in 1961 to raise their family. Florence was employed by Lynflex Shoe and later owned and operated Biddeford Dental Lab with her husband Robert.

Florence and Robert then bought a camper and had many fun filled adventures camping up and down the eastern seaboard.

After the passing of her husband, she devoted much of her time to her children and grandchildren. She was a New England Patriots football fan. As the years rolled, she developed a love for the new technology in her tablet.
