Join Pejepscot Historical Society for a walk through the mid/late 19th century site, which will pass through the former Merrymeeting Park as well as the location of the two steam mills associated with the shipyard. The site has recently been nominated to the National Historic Register by the Maine Historic Preservation Commission and its history dates to 8500 B.C. Supportive footwear and bug/tick spray suggested. The walk is 90-120 minutes. The tour starts at the Chamberlain Museum in Brunswick at 1:30 p.m. The tour is limited to 20 people; call Pejepscot Historical Society at (207) 729-6606 or email info@pejepscothistorical.org before noon on Friday to register. Free to members; $5 general admission.
