“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.” Saint Teresa of Calcutta
Can you feel summer? I can. Summer is a new adventure through the tunnel of June. She is a saucy flirt bathing us in warm sunlight while beckoning us with long days to enjoy the natural surroundings of life.
With fresh eyes we turn our attention to summer, and delight in the attractive loveliness of the earth: the green fields, the birds, the quiet blossoming of the flowers, the hills, lakes, beaches and more wonderful and beautiful things of nature. Think of the marvelous adaption to the needs of man.
I relinquish many of the things I should be doing and surrender to my favorite seasonal activities, feelings the beauty and enjoying summer, especially with family. I hope that you, too, savor the summer days, allowing yourself permissible pleasures that life offers at this season.
Channeling our time with some fun, our smiles deepen, our laughter increase. And perhaps, if we are lucky, we will be leaving beautiful memories while we are on the way to where we are going.
Summer is on. Here is a passage that has inspired me. Think freely. Smile often. Tell those that you love that you do. Rediscover old friends. Make new ones. Hope. Grow. Reach out. Pick some flowers. Share them. Keep a promise. Laugh heartily. Let someone in. Hug a child. Slow down. See a sunrise. Listen to rain. Trust life. Have faith. Enjoy! Make mistakes. Learn from them. Explore the unknown. Celebrate life.
As the days unfold we are building a life and we want to be cautious so that in the end, we will like living the life we have built. Walking in life takes effort. We are all health conscious-young and old. In our community there are activities for all interests and ages.
