
He was born Dec. 1, 1963 at the Cape Cod Hospital, a son of Larry and Aline (Boilard) Hord.
Normand graduated from Biddeford High School and the Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1980 to 1983.
Normand had been employed as a design manager with Wood Structures/Boise Cascade for 30 years.
He is survived by his cousin Paul Simoneau and his wife Barbara of Lyman and their daughters: Marie Simoneau of Kennebunk and Michelle Simoneau of Lyman. He is also survived by special friends Maurice and Samantha Turbine of Auburn.
Visiting Hours will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Anne’s Chapel of St. Joseph Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.
