SACO — Nancy Minnihan Fogg, 83, of Saco passed away on July 20, 2017, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She passed peacefully with her family at her side. Nancy was a lifelong resident of Maine.

Nancy was born Sept. 30, 1933, in Biddeford, the daughter of William and Mary Lombard Minnihan. Nancy graduated from Biddeford High School, Class of 1951.

She received a Bachelor of Science in education from Gorham State Teachers College in 1957. For a time she was an elementary school teacher in the Biddeford and Saco school districts. She was also the music teacher and loved playing the piano.

She married Donald A. Fogg, Jr. in 1955. She was a devoted mother to their three sons, Jeffrey Fogg of California, Kevin Fogg and Timothy Fogg of Saco. She had two granddaughters, McKenzie Jones of Saco, and Heather Fogg and her fiancé Jade Leonhardt of Cowley, Wyoming; and one great grandson, Ayden Leonhardt.

Nancy was preceded in death by: her former husband, Donald; sisters Mary Desjardins and Theresa “Grace” Conley; brothers James, John and William “Francis” Minnihan; and her longtime companion, Dan Devers. She is survived by: her three sons, two granddaughters, great-grandson; her brother Charles Minnihan and his wife Marie of California,; her sister-in-law Nina Minnihan of New Hampshire and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco.
