PORTLAND — Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown is scheduled to make an appearance at Hadlock Field, presented by Aura, on Tuesday, Aug. 15 when the Sea Dogs host the Altoona Curve at 7:00 PM.

Brown will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will be available to sign free autographs on photos provided by the Sea Dogs from 7:15 to 8:00 PM. 

Brown, 20 years-old, was selected by the Boston Celtics with the third overall pick in the 2016 draft. Brown appeared in 78 games with the Celtics in his rookie season, averaging 6.6 points per game and made 20 starts. At the season’s end, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. Brown attended Joseph Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia and attended the University of California for one season.  During his lone college season, Brown averaged 14.6 points-per-game in 34 contests and earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors and was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year.

Other Celtics players to have made appearances at Hadlock Field include Jared Sullinger (2013), Marcus Smart (2014), Kelly Olynyk (2015), and Jae Crowder (2016).
