There weren’t many people in the community who didn’t know Vinny. He was well liked by his peers and had many long time friends that became “family” over the years.
He had always dreamed of being a comedian and even did stand up once. He had a personality and sense of humor that made him easily loved. He was always helping others and had a very kind and caring soul!
His most prized possession on earth, were his children. He was a wonderful, loving, fun dad. His children had his heart and he loved them more than life itself ! He will be truly missed and forever loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
He is pre-deceased by both of his biological parents, Joseph Verella and Virginia Smith and his first born son, Caden Milliano. He is survived by his four children, Lillian Milliano, Eliza-Beth Welch, Nevaeh and Bentley Milliano.
There will be a celebration of life for Vinny on Sunday, August 13, 2017 beginning at 1pm at the Bath Waterfront Pavillion. Please bring your favorite story or memory of Vinny to share. Thank you.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
