BRANDON, Fla. — Bonnie Michelle (Forcier) Ogden, 48, passed away on Aug. 5, 2017 at her home in Brandon, Florida after an arduous four-plus year battle with breast cancer.

She was a wonderful daughter to Francoise and Bob Forcier, wife to Michael Ogden, mother to Devin, Josh and Caitlyn Ogden and beloved sister to Mickey Trieschmann and brother Rob Forcier (deceased) and will be missed by countless relatives and friends.

Bonnie was born on Oct. 24, 1968 in Biddeford, Maine. Her father’s U.S. Air Force career moved Bonnie’s family to Germany in 1972 where Bonnie mastered the language, served as the Furstenhagen Carnival Princess and excelled in her competitive German dance group. After graduating German high school in 1985, Bonnie graduated Hampton High School, Virginia before following in her father’s footsteps by joining the USAF in 1987.

During her eight years of decorated service, Bonnie deployed to Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm where she met her husband. At the birth of their second child, Bonnie transitioned to the civilian service where she proved to be a driven professional as she served our nation as Secretary and Unit Program Coordinator for the USAF until 2013 and was honored by winning the 47th Flying Training Wing 2012 Civilian Category 2 Employee of the Year.

During her husband’s nine deployments, Bonnie mastered the art of being both mother and father while working full time and completing her BA in Management in Computer Information Systems in 2004 from Park University.

Her family’s military career enabled them to travel the world where they served in Texas, Germany, Virginia, England and Florida. She was incredibly talented, sweet, caring, and generous and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.

Bonnie requested to be cremated and no formal service. In lieu of flowers, she requested that you make donations to your favorite charity.
