WOOLWICH — Christine Prince Wing, 92, of Hunnewell Lane died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick with her family by her side.
She was born in Winthrop on April 29, 1925, a daughter of Leon W. and Agnes E. (Copp) Prince.
She graduated from Monmouth Academy and Gates Business College. She was employed by the State of Maine for twenty years. On August 19, 1964 she married Norman A. Wing. In 1998 they moved to her home in Woolwich.
She enjoyed making quilts, gardening, keeping busy and especially spending time with family.
She was predeceased by her husband Norman A. Wing on August 22, 2005 and by her son Chris.
She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Downing of Augusta, one step daughter, Carole Rideout of Chelsea, two longtime companions, Laurie Cromwell and Andrew Cromwell, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta at a later date.
