ACTON – A New Hampshire man was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland on Saturday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle on Route 109 around 3:45 p.m.

York County Sheriff William King un a Sunday update said Dana Seaboyer, 56, of Kingston was in stable condition at the hospital.  He was treated at the scene by Acton Fire and Rescue for significant head and leg injuries..

King said the  preliminarily investigation found that Seaboyer was riding his 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle east bound on Route 109 with several other motorcyclists when he left the roadway and rode into a tree.  

King said the man was wearing a helmet.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.  Portions of Route 109 was shut down for about one and one half  hours Saturday afternoon.
