ARUNDEL — The Biddeford golf team topped visiting Noble 7.5-5.5 at Dutch Elm of Tuesday afternoon.
Carter Burnell led the Tigers with a match-low 41, while Brian Perrault had a 45 and Brice Springer and 48. Logan Magnant also shot a 49 for Biddeford.
Jacob Currie led Noble with a 47, while Tyler Oliver and Geof Howe shot 48.
THORNTON ACADEMY 13, WINDHAM 0
The Trojans shutout visiting Windham 13-0 on Tuesday at Biddeford-Saco County Club.
Armand Ouellette had an impressive performance for TA, shooting a match-low 34. Jordan Laplume shot a 35 for TA, while Eric Boucher and Jake Laplume shot 40.
Ryan Sargent led Windham with a 44 while teammate Ryan Walker shot 46.
BOYS SOCCER
GORHAM 7, MASSABESIC 1
The Rams cruised to a 7-1 win over Massabesic on Tuesday.
James Davenport scored the Mustangs’ lone goal while Noah Perry picked up the assist. Massabesic keeper Joshua Castonguay made 15 stops in net.
WELLS 4, ST. DOMINIC’S ACADEMY 0
The Warriors cruised to a 4-0 shutout over St. Dom’s on Tuesday afternoon.
Liam Bell and Ryan Norton each scored a a pair of goals in the win. Wells goalie Joe Eremita recorded six saves in the win.
VOLLEYBALL
BIDDEFORD 3, GORHAM 0
The Tigers improved to 6-1 on the year with a 3-0 sweep of Gorham on Tuesday.
Biddeford won 35-17, 25-20,25-18. Lexi Matteau had five aces, while Grace Martin added seven kills. Grace Boisvert had six kills and Mia Martel chipped in four blocks for the Tigers.
SOUTH PORTLAND 3, MASSABESIC 0
The Red Riots swept the Mustangs in three sets on Tuesday afternoon.
South Portland won by scores on 25-15, 25-23, 25-13.
THORNTON ACADEMY 3, PORTLAND 0
Thornton Academy beat visiting Portland 3-0 on Tuesday, to improve to 4-4 and remain in the playoff picture.
The Trojans outmatched the Bulldogs with scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-21.
