FREEPORT — Robert T. Greenleaf III, 77, passed away peaceful at his home in Freeport with his family by his side on Thursday, September 28, 2017.
Born May 18, 1940, he was one of nine children born to Robert T. Greenleaf Jr. and Carrie E. Greenleaf of Westport Island. He was in the Navy.
Bob is survived by his children: Stella Rich, Sondra Bean, Robert T. Greenleaf IV, and Michael Greenleaf. His fiancée Margaret Leclair of Moosup, CT. and his sister Joyce Cressey of Buckfield. Bob is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and second wife Dondra Libby.
Bob was predeceased by his first wife, Ruth Stinson and his third wife, Dolores C. Greanleaf, his parents and seven siblings.
Bob worked as a laborer and a lobsterman. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and spending time on the water hauling traps. He also enjoyed many hours of scenic driving with the love of his life and his dogs.
Graveside services will be held at a later date.
