WINDHAM — The Kennebunk girls soccer team won a 2-1, double overtime decision over host Windham on Wednesday.

Tied at 1-1 in double OT, Miranda Durcan would score with just 18 seconds remaining to secure the win for the Rams.

Kennebunk took the early lead when Caitlin Wolff scored 19 minutes into regulation. Windham would tie it shortly after and the two teams battled for the rest of regulation.

Freeport 2, Wells 1

Freeport picked up a 2-1 win on the road over Wells on Wednesday.

Freeport would draw first blood in the first on a goal midway through the half. Jessie Driscoll would score with 11:15 to extend the Freeport lead to 2-0 late. Despite a goal from Kenzie Foss with 6:40 left, the Warriors could not get the tying shot to fall in a close match.

Waynflete 2, Old Orchard Beach 1

The Seagulls fell to visiting Waynflete 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

After a scoreless first half, OOB’s Myah Hebert would score to put the Seagulls ahead 1-0 with nine minutes left in regulation.

Waynflete would respond with two goals from Ava Farrar to pull ahead in the final six minutes to secure the win.

Kaitlyn Cote finished the day with five saves for OOB, while Waynflete’s Ya Stockford recorded three.
