Corky Clarke made a hole-in-one with a pitching wedge on the 110-yard seventh hole at Great Chebeague Golf Club on Sept. 2. Clarke was playing his final hole of the club’s Labor Day Swat fest. Approximately 30 club members witnessed the shot.
Mike Dyer recorded a hole-in-one on the 110-yard seventh hole at Great Chebeague Golf Club on Sept. 9. Dyer used a 9-iron as playing partners, Pete Raucher, Marty Piacitelli and Ben Fortin looked on.
Kathy Maskell carded her first hole-in-one on Great Chebeague Golf Club’s seventh hole on Sept. 13, using a 7-iron. Her father, Chuck Hilly was on hand to witness the feat.
Andre Plette aced the 14th hole at Province Lake Golf Course on Sept. 12. Plette used a wedge for the 115-yard shot, which was witnessed by Sandra Plette, Debbie Cupo and Dave Porter.
Ed Olson used a wedge to ace the 16th hole at Toddy Brook Golf Course on Sept. 19. Larry Spires and Rick Placey witnessed the 115-yard shot.
Maureen Wedge, using a pitching wedge, sank a 115-yard tee shot on the 16th hole at Falmouth Country Club on Sept. 24. Kim Burnham witnessed the ace.
