LIMINGTON  – A 24-year-old Greenwood woman was taken by helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland late Wednesday afternoon after her pickup truck crashed into another truck on Route 11, also known as Sokokis Avenue.

York County Sheriff William King said deputies responded  to the crash, in the vicinity of the Limington Municipal Complex, around 4:45 p.m

He said the preliminary
investigation revealed that a 2002 Ford Ranger operated by
Michelle Roberts of  Greenwood was
traveling north on Sokokis Avenue and
appeared to drift into the southbound lane, striking a 1995 GMC ramp truck operated by Lester Williams.

Williams,
34, of Saco, was not injured in the crash.

Roberts was treated at the scene by Limington Rescue, and flown to the Maine Medical Center by LifeFlight of Maine. King said her
injuries were serious, but not determined to be life threatening as of early Thursday morning.
