LISBON FALLS — Christine F. Jellison, age 88, died Tuesday October 17, 2017 at Freeport Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born February 21, 1929 in Lisbon Falls, the daughter of Dwight and Hulda Jones Webber. She attended Lisbon schools and married Arthur Royce Jellison in 1951. Mr. Jellison died in 1986.
Before retiring, Mrs. Jellison had worked at Health- Tex, Brunswick and also LL Bean, Freeport. She really enjoyed her retirement, visiting with family and friends and always enjoying a good laugh. She was very skilled in sewing and craftwork which she gave to many, including childrens clothes and sets of curtains etc for anyone needing them. Her pet Yorkie also gave her much enjoyment in her later years.
She is survived by her daughter Denise Jellison of California; son, Royce Jellison and his wife Joann of Lisbon Falls; a granddaughter, Andrea Jellison of Portland; three great grandchildren, Kay Jellison, Nathaniel Jellison, Anabelle Jellison all of Portland.
Thanks are given to all that have helped her through her last years of needing care including friends family & staff of Freeport Nursing Home.
Services will be held privately by family. Interment will take place by her husband in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.bracketfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
