
A Farmingdale woman was transported to a Lewiston hospital with minor injuries after crashing her vehicle on River Road in Lisbon Sunday evening, according to police.
Lisbon police and emergency personnel responded to the crash at 6:23 p.m. A single vehicle had gone off the road at a sharp corner and down an embankment. Lisbon firefighters responded to stabilize the vehicle.
The blue 2010 Subaru station wagon was driven by Amanda McKee, 36, who was the sole occupant, according to a press release issued by Lisbon police. She was transported by Lisbon Emergency to Central Maine Medical Center with minor injuries.
Two witnesses stopped to help as well, according to police.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
