FREEPORT — Laura “Gram” Winslow Bennett, Life Long Freeport Resident passed away November 7, 2017 at the age of 87, peacefully in her sleep.

She was born in 1930, in Freeport Maine, the daughter of Albert & Josie Winslow.

She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, boating, lobstering, clam digging, island picnics on Casco Bay, and spending time with family. She was an amazingly strong woman, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be sadly missed but proudly remembered and always in our hearts.

Predeceased by husband of 59 years, Robert A. Bennett, son Thomas R. Bennett, son in law Carlton Moon, and beloved dog Rebel, sisters Lorrene Cushman and Jennie Wilson, brother Stephen Mitchell, and brother in laws Richard Hilton and Roland Curtis.

Survived by daughter Bobbie Peters and husband Stephen, son Randall Bennett, daughter Laurie Moon, grandchildren Tabria Kirby, Jason Lavers and wife Christi, Thomas Bennett II, Ashleigh Pine and husband Jeff, Andrea Bennett, Darcy Coslet and husband Kenny, Nathan Bennett and fiancé Shana McConnell, Jacob Moon, 10 great grandchildren Jacie and Stephen Lavers, Kelsey and Reid Bennett, Taylor, Jaiden, and Jack Pine, Bennett DeAngelo, Waylon and Tucker Coslet, daughter in law Heidi Bennett and son Chris Pennell, two sisters Bettyjean Hilton and Vaughndella Curtis, brother in law Leslie Bennett and wife Elaine, sister in law Edith Mitchell and many more extended family members.

At her request there will be no service.
