Four Old Orchard Beach High School seniors took part in a project to fence in the grave site of a local Revolutionary War veteran. The students – Cody Blanchette, Zach Brasier, Lane Gaudet and Tyler Micheau – worked with the town’s conservation commission on Nov. 4 to beautify Joseph Googin’s grave site, located in the woods in the Miliken Mills Trail area on Portland Avenue. The group hauled supplies, dug posts and erected a fence. Shown are Old Orchard Beach High School Community Employment Liaison Jimmy Pirrello and students from the school as they prepare to create a fence around a grave site of a local revolutionary war veteran.
