BRUNSWICK’S tree lighting ceremony returns Saturday.

BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Downtown Association will hold its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Town Mall in Downtown Brunswick on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. Featured will be horse and carriage ride on Park Row and Maine Street, hot cocoa and coffee and Christmas cookies — all provided by the BDA.

At 3 p.m., a Brunswick Fire Truck will deliver Santa and Frosty the Snowman to the Town Mall near the Gazebo. After greeting the children and their families, Santa will take a seat in the gazebo to listen to their Christmas wishes. The Brunswick High School Chorus will lead a community Sing-Along from 4-5 p.m. and Santa will light the town tree at 5..

The BDA invites donations of home baked cookies for this event. Cookies can be dropped off the Brunswick Visitor Center on Station Avenue next Friday 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. or Saturday before noon.
