Elise Tabor joined The Iris Network in Portland as an access technology specialist.
Tabor previously taught science, technology, math and Braille for five years at the Perkins School for the Blind in Greater Boston.

 

 

Joanna Rousey joined Diversified Communications as a managing editor for online.
Rousey was previously employed by NH Bragg in Bangor.

OTT Communications in New Gloucester hired Paul Yearwood as a financial analyst.
Yearwood has had previous roles in accounting/finance with Mallory Safety and Supply and New Outlook Financial, both based in Portland, Oregon.

James W. Sewall Co. announced that Brian Schneider has joined its forestry and natural resources consulting team.
Schneider joined as an analyst, focusing on timberland appraisal. He brings 14 years of experience in forestry planning, management, consulting and education.

 

 

PROMOTIONS
Karen James was promoted to accounting specialist at Great Falls Construction.
James, of Hiram, has nearly 30 years of experience in construction. She joined Great Falls six years ago.

 

 

Tetiana Glebkivska was promoted to senior associate at Macpage LLC.
She joined Macpage in 2015 and has concentrated her accounting practice in consulting and tax. She lives in Portland.

 

 

 

AWARDS and RECOGNITIONS
The Council for Interior Design Qualification presented its Louis S. Tregre Award to Lisa Whited of Portland.
Whited has worked for over 30 years designing corporate interiors and has been involved with CIDQ since 1993. She has been a member of the Assembly of Delegates representing Maine and served on the CIDQ board of directors, culminating as board president in 2000.
Currently, she is a volunteer ambassador, educating people about the importance of the council’s exam and certification.
