BRUNSWICK — Both the Bowdoin College men’s and women’s basketball teams are ranked in the latest D3hoops.com national polls, released on Tuesday evening.

In the debut poll for both, the women went from unranked to 17th in the nation, while the men vaulted to 22nd. It is the first time since February 2014 that both squads are ranked, and the Polar Bears are one of 10 schools in the nation, joining Amherst as the only other NESCAC, to have both their men’s and women’s teams ranked.

Both teams are 5-0 after victories over the University of Southern Maine on Tuesday.
