Claire was married June 6, 1942 in Brunswick to Adrien Michaud. She and her husband purchased Reno’s Market in 1970 which they operated as Adrien’s Market until 1979. Mrs. Michaud also had worked for Cottles Shop N Save and retired from Hannaford Supermarkets.
She and her husband enjoyed winters in Iverness, FL from 1994 to 2002.
Claire was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Adrien Michaud, a daughter Loretta Baker, and 7 siblings Robert, Ludger, Lorenzo, Fernand, Therese, Cecile and Noella. She is survived by her children, Ronald and his wife Marjorie of Palm Bay, FL, Norman and his wife Cathy of Georgia, VT, and Patricia Michaud of Palm Coast, FL 10 Grandchildren, Adam Baker of Harmony, Heidi O’Leary of Oakland, Erik Baker of

Visiting Hours will be from 5:30 to 7:30pm Thursday November 30, at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Pleasant St. in Brunswick. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm, Friday December 1, 2017 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church on Pleasant St. in Brunswick. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
