BIDDEFORD — It is with deep sorrow that the family of Charlene Brochu Saucier announces her passing on Dec. ?, 2017 at the age of 69 years at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.

Charlene was born in Biddeford, Maine on Dec. 23, 1947 to Monique Laverriere Brochu and Armand Brochu.  A graduate of Marie Joseph Academy, she also attended St. Andre’s School and Biddeford High School.  

She is predeceased by her husband Richard Joseph (Joe) Saucier, and will forever be lovingly remembered by her surviving children Michael (Barbara) Morisette, Tyson (Ann) Saucier, Miranda (Daniel) Nelson, and Joe-Pete Saucier.  She will also be forever loved and remembered by her brother Guy (Francis) Brochu and sister Nancy (Ed) May, grandchildren Gillian, Margaret, Bernadette, Sophia, Kaleb, Ana, and Stella, her niece Holly (Larry) Lassiter and nephew Jesse (Rebecca) Merrill, and numerous cousins and many dear friends who shared her love and laughter over the years. 

Charlene loved spending time with friends and enjoyed music, plays, her grandchildren and Biddeford Pool.  She had an incredible sense of humor, infectious laughter and a wonderful smile that could light up a room.  As she has held a special place in all of our hearts, Charlene will hold a special place in the universe and continue to exude her positive energy on all of us.  May your star burn brightly, Charlene! 

Charlene requested a small family Celebration of Life to be held at a future date and in lieu of memorial contributions that individuals extend a random act of kindness and love to someone in need during this holiday season.
