This Tuesday, Feb. 4 photo shows Refugio de Esperanza (Refuge of Hope) church in New Rochelle, N.Y. The church, vacant and deteriorating for decades, has been renovated with the help of retired New York Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera. Clara Rivera, his wife, is to be the head pastor of the new congregation.
