The Sanford Historical Society and Sanford Historical Committee are asking that Southern Maine Health Care put the Goodall name back into the title when referring to the Sanford Medical Center, formerly Goodall Hospital, pictured here. The hospital merged with Southern Maine Medical Center Jan. 1 and both facilities are now known as Southern Maine Health Care. The former SMMC is called Biddeford Medical Center.
