Kennebunk seniors Ben Bath, left, Tyler Elkington, center, and Nicco DeLorenzo are three of a number or returning players from the Rams’ Western Class A runner-up team of a year ago. Bath, a four-year starter at goalie, compiled a sterling 4.54 goals against average last season while stopping 71 percent of opponents’ shots, while DeLorenzo, another four-year starter, picked up 98 ground balls and scored four goals from his long-stick midfielder position. Elkington was the engine room of the offense, leading the team in both goals (39) and assists (39) last season, with the assists tally the most in the state. (CAMERON DUNBAR/Journal Tribune)
