Cally Gurley, director of special collections at the University of New England, pictured on the Biddeford campus Thursday, has been compiling a scrapbook of media articles in preparation for the 50th anniversary commemoration of a speech given at then-St. Francis College by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In the background is a print of a painting of King. The university will acknowledge the anniversary on Monday.
