The Hadiaris family is hosting its 19th annual free dinner from 1 to 3 p.m. on Christmas day at Traditions Restaurant, 162 Main St.
“No one should be alone or hungry on Christmas,” said the family in a written statement. “If you or anyone you know will be in need of a free meal or just want some company on Christmas Day, you are welcome to join the Hadiaris family and friends at Traditions Restaurant in Saco for a free, family-style Christmas dinner.”
The meal choices will include a roast chicken or a baked ham dinner, both home-cooked with the fixings and served restaurant-style, and there will be a variety of desserts.
Reservations must be made and will be accepted until Dec. 23. Call 282-9373 before 6 p.m. If the answering machine picks up, leave your name, the number of people who will be coming with you, and a phone number where you can be reached. Your call will be returned to confirm your reservation.
Meals can also be delivered to people in Saco, Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach who are unable to leave their home or do not have transportation.

- In Berwick, the Table of Plenty community kitchen is hosting a Christmas dinner at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at United Methodist Church, 37 School St. For more information, call 534-7779.
- In Kennebunk, Community Harvest is hosting a Noel Dinner at 1 p.m. on Christmas day at St. Martha Church, 30 Portland Road. To make a reservation or volunteer, call 967-1911.
- In Saco, Traditions Restaurant is serving a Christmas meal from 1 to 3 p.m. on Christmas day at 162 Main St. Dinner is by reservation only. To make a reservation or request a local meal delivery, call 282-9373 and leave a message with your name and phone number.
- In Sanford, the Veterans of Foreign War Post 9935 post is hosting an open house with a free Christmas meal at 1 p.m. on Christmas day at 1 Hutchinson St. For more information, call 324-1142.
