FREEPORT HIGH SCHOOL students and staff were very busy this holiday month, raising money and shopping for gifts to help those in need in the RSU5 community. A Giving Tree was set up in the main office that had ornament tags with gift ideas for families. Class advisories and individuals grabbed tags and went to work getting gifts. The Interact Club held a Cookie Decorating event last Saturday to raise funds for the gifts. Students helped wrap and deliver some of the gifts to Freeport Community Services. Other gifts were distributed to different RSU5 schools.
