My Christmas wish is that everyone’s true wishes come true. We all want things, for ourselves, our children, our friends and all our loved ones. But I think, I hope, we all most want those items which matter most. Not toys or trinkets that money can buy, but the big and little things that are priceless. Like peace on Earth, and words of praise and encouragement that we both give and receive. Making sure everyone is fed and has shelter. And doing what we can to make the world a better place for one and all. Also, I want us to remember whether Republican or Democrat, white, black or brown, U.S. citizen or immigrant and from another country, we are all citizens of the world and we must learn to live together to ensure that the world remains for future generations. Finally, I wish that whatever holiday you celebrate that it is happy and healthy and that we work together to make 2018 a year better than those before. — Dina Mendros
